Foxconn recommends for customers to first contact their vendors for faster replacement or refund transaction. For faster and more efficient service Foxconn requires user to troubleshoot with support technicians prior to issuing an RMA. This may save time and cost for unnecessary shipping of products.
Foxconn- North America (CISG1- Channel Innovation Service Group One) will only provide warranty service to Canada and United States- excludes territories as noted below. For other regions it varies on warranty period contact distributor/resellers for assistance. Foxconn’s warranty terms and conditions are subjected to change.

Notes:
General:
1) Foxconn warranties are for Foxconn and WinFast branded products against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, for a fixed period of time as noted.
a) Distributor- When applying for warranty service, the following criteria must be met:
1) Original sales invoice from Foxconn (CISG1).
2) The product date/serial number marked on the product must fall on the same date as it was sold from Foxconn (CISG1).
b) Indirect Foxconn customers- When applying for warranty service, the following criteria must be met:
1) Customers original sales invoice is required.
2) Regardless of purchase date the date code/serial number marked on the product must fall within the manufacture warranty period.
2) Foxconn liability is limited to the replacement of defective Foxconn product.
3) Foxconn does not offer out-of-warranty repair service.
4) Foxconn does not offer cross shipment or advanced replacement.
5) Clearance sales though bargain dealers under the terms “AS IS, and WITHOUT Warranty” will still be serviced, but a charge of $25 US dollars, regardless if you have an original purchase invoice from reseller, also must fall within manufacture date code/serial number date.
6) Auction house sales do not apply. i.e. eBay.
7) Foxconn does not offer “2nd hand customer warranty” i.e. non-reseller to non-reseller.
8) Replacement product includes new, remanufactured, or refurbished products and parts.
9) Foxconn provides one-way shipping via: UPS Ground on valid warranty claims, if faster shipping option is require please provide UPS or FedEx account number with indicated shipping option.
10) Turnaround time for end users customers (i.e. the span of time from the receipt returned item in our Receiving Department to the time we ship the item back to you) is typically less then or equal (7) business days. This is not guarantee.
11) For consecutive violation for No Trouble Found (NTF), a testing fee per NTF will be applied.
12) Prior to an RMA number being issue, customer must go through Technical Support to qualify a return. Customer must be willing to troubleshoot, if unable/or do not want to no RMA number will be issued.
· Product with missing or defaced serial number.
· Products such as motherboards, video cards, power supplies, etc with a lot/serial number outside of Foxconn North America (CISG1) will not be replaced, please contact the distributor/reseller for replacement.
· Corrupted / BIOS Upgrade.
· Products damaged by environment factors, which includes oxidation and/or damaged caused by natural disasters.
· Physical Damage which include, but not limited to the following:
1) Unauthorized modifications
2) Damage during of Aftermarket cooling installation, and water damage of any kind.
3) Misuse, neglect or improper assembly.
4) Burns results from faulty or failed electric power
5) Missing/bent pins (For socket 1366/775 motherboards, CPU socket cover is REQUIRED).
6) Cracked Components.
· Foxconn will not be liable for general, consequential, incidental or special damage which include, but not limited, the following:
1) Loss or recovery of data.
2) Loss of Profit.
3) Installation or replacement of product.
4) Inspection or testing costs.
5) Installation and removal fees.
· Foxconn will contact customers for return shipping/freight charges or physical damage, out of warranty and.or
non-Foxconn products. Foxconn will not be responsible for product(s) if there is no response or
repayment received within 30-days of contacting the customer.
Packing and Shipping:
· Only include product and quantities for approved for requested item(s) on RMA request form.
· Send the product only. (Original packing, accessories and or other peripherals may not be returned).
· Foxconn will not be responsible for non-Foxconn products received.
· Include a copy of all related RMA documents.
· RMA number must be written visibly on the outside of the box.
· Electrostatic bag is recommended to product products from ESD (electrostatic discharge) influences during shipping.
· Package contents securely to prevent possible shipping damage.
· A carrier that provides tracking information and or delivery confirmation is recommended.
· Foxconn will not be responsible for shipments where proof of delivery is not available.
· Customer will be responsible for shipping to Foxconn.
· All collected deliveries will be refused, unless authorized in advanced.
· Any products received without proper documents and/or RMA number may be considered unclaimed. Unclaimed products will be discarded at Foxconn discretion after 30-days upon receipt.
· Products received without serial number(s) or with physical damage(s) will be returned at customer’s expense.
· Canadian residents will be responsible for any customs/duty or any other related fee. Packaged will be returned by UPS or FedEX ONLY.
Second RMA Procedures:
· User must troubleshoot with the Technical Support Representative prior to requesting a second RMA.
· If a Foxconn technician concludes that the product qualified for a second RMA, Foxconn will issue a call tag for the product:
- If product is defective upon inspection, the product will be repair/replaced and returned to the user at Foxconn expense.
- If the product is not defective upon inspection, the product will be returned at the customer expense.
· If a Foxconn technician conclude the product is not defective, and the user insists for the product to come in a second RMA to be retested, Foxconn will issue a call tag for the product:
- If the product is defective upon inspection, the product will be repaired/replaced and returned to the customer at Foxconn expense.
- If the product is not defective upon inspection, the product will be returned at the customer’s expense and the customer will also need to reimburse Foxconn for the call tag. A testing fee of $45 dollars if the product is not defective as customer claims.
Reseller Warranty:
If the reseller offers an extended warranty or higher service level than our on warranty, please contact the reseller for the service(s) and/or warranty coverage.
ODM/OEM Customers:
This warranty information does not apply to ODM/OEM products. ODM/OEM customers should contact their Foxconn sales representative for warranty details.
